The initiative, announced by the Digital Dubai Office in partnership with the Dubai Future Foundation, aims to enhance transparency, security, and efficiency in the electoral process. Local residents participated in the pilot, using a secure digital platform designed to ensure vote integrity and accessibility. Officials highlighted the project as part of Dubai’s broader vision to become a global leader in digital governance. Plans are underway to expand the system citywide, with further trials scheduled for 2026.
